1. Measurement Data Acquisition and Analysis
This is the most common application. The TopMessge devices are very well designed to process the data of many
analog and digital inputs. With the software ProfiSignal it is very easy to get a consolidated view of the measurement data
or to drill down to each individual data point.
2. Quality Assurance
This application is highlighting the specific need for documentation, archiving and product test before the delivery to the
customer. The development of test reports and protocols or even data base integration can easily be accomplished to
meet international quality standards.
3. Test Stand Automation
Product testing during development phases is becoming more and more important. The development time is shrinking
and the legal requirements for approval are increasing. A way out of this trap is to use integrated test stands with Delphin
DAQ systems. This gives you all flexibility to adapt test procedure and to analyse and store the measurement data in a
very efficient way.
4. Vibration Measurement
Vibration measurement and monitoring with Delphin AMDT-V2 Module is useful to analyse the condition of the
equipment. High vibrations are very often a good indicator that structures, power trains, turbine shafts or bearing are not
in a good condition. With the option Vibro which includes special diagrams such as the FFT-spectrum or Orbit-diagram
the condition and the trend over time can be analysed to prevent system crashes.
5. Monitoring and AlarmManagement
In large power plants and big factories many signals are under surveillance to monitor the status the plant. With the
integrated AlarmManager it is possible to configure very easily several hundred or thousand observations, to define
abnormal status and to visualise the alarms. With a large list of event possibilities the abnormal status can be reported
either in an alarm table, optical, acoustical or via Email, Fax, SMS.
6. Remote Monitoring
This application is aiming for all customers who have data acquisition tasks in remote locations with no LAN connection.
With the GSM Modem the data can be easily transferred on a regularly basis to central control PC. However any alarm
events can also be reported via Email, Fax or SMS if required.
7. Mobile Measurement Acquisition
Maintenance Engineers, service technicians, and commissioning engineers value the portable fault tracing and
diagnosis system from Delphin. In any case the system is a very good tool to back trace problems and to analyse the
status of an equipment to find out what is going wrong. The system is often used by power plants where a flexible and
fast sampling root tracing system is required in parallel to the slow and cumbersome plant control system.
8. Endurance Testing & Environment Simulation
Many customer use Delphin products for test and simulation purposes. The equipment is very practical to control test
cycles and perform endurance test to monitor the behaviour of the equipment or product over time and under certain
environmental or climatic conditions. Increasing product requirements and new legal standards can easily be adapted to
the Delphin system.
9. Laboratory Measurement Acquisition
The Delphin DAQ system is a reliable partner for the laboratory. Any type of sensor can be easily connected to the system
and the visualisation with ProfiSignal is very easy. The main features of measurement acquisition, archiving and
reporting and documentation are integrated to one solution.
10. FDA 21 CFR part 11
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) puts very high requirements on tractability, integrity of measurement results and
documentation. The Audit Trail functionality is tracing every change of every user working with the system. This ensures
that data remains integer and that no manipulation is possible.
