AlarmManagement
Within ProfiSignal it is now possible to build an effective
AlarmManagement System. Several hundred or thousand
digital and anlog inputs can be monitored.
The configuration of abnormal status is done inside the
DataServiceConfigurator. For every rule one or several
channels can be observed.
If the channel has an abnormal status an alarm is
reported on the general overview (Alarm Table). It is also
possible to configure certain events to report alarm
information via e-mail, fax, or to switch digital or analog
outputs or to ring a horn etc…
In order to keep a clear overview in the event of multiple
alarms every alarm can be put to a priority. Additionally all
alarm rules are linked to classes to keep an overview of
the whole situation.
